It is with sadness that after 18 great years, the
decision has been made to close the Ashmanhaugh Light Railway. During that time
we have met and made many good friends and we would like to thank all the
people who have supported us over that time, we will miss you all.
Clearing of
the site is well advanced with the track and some of the stock being moved to a
new site in the Cromer area where some of our members are planning to establish
a new railway.
